My Personal Journey 

Jana Novotna

Hello there! I'm Jana Novotna, a dedicated personal trainer and fitness enthusiast with a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. Originally hailing from the picturesque town of Kromeriz in the Czech Republic, I've spent the past 19 vibrant years living in the stunning landscapes of Ireland.

From a young age, I was captivated by the world of athletics. My journey started with an unrelenting desire to push my physical boundaries and achieve greatness. This early passion laid the foundation for my lifelong commitment to health and fitness.

In 2006, I embarked on a journey to formalize my knowledge in the fitness realm. I became a certified fitness instructor, learning the ins and outs of crafting effective workouts and fostering a positive gym environment. However, I didn't stop there; my thirst for knowledge led me to the University of Limerick, where I earned my personal trainer qualification in 2009. This enriched my understanding of exercise physiology, nutrition, and the art of motivating individuals towards their best selves.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of guiding countless individuals through diverse fitness classes and programs. My proficiency in a wide array of training styles has allowed me to tailor workouts to various needs and preferences. But there's a special place in my heart for pilates and yoga – practices that emphasize holistic well-being and a strong mind-body connection.

My Journey so far


The Beginnings

Moved to Ireland and qualified as an aerobic instructor. Thought aerobic dance classes, fitness, HipHop and Latino classes. Travelled to Australia and trained in the Sydney Dance Company.


Start of Qualification journey

Worked as a fitness instructor and became prevalent in all types of fitness and aerobic classes. Became baby-parent and pre-school swim instructor.
